Ox Tongue for Healthy Meal

They serve ox tongue with mugi-meshi (barley and rice) and tororo (yamato yams).

The grilled beef tongue is very light.  It contains less fat and rich in vitamin B2 and iron.  Along with beef tongue, tororo is also rich in protein, vitamin B, vitamin C and minerals.  Mugi-meshi also contains vitamin B1, protein and minerals.  It is considered to be healthier than regular rice.
